From Dec. 7 to 13, 2017, sponsored by foreign affairs and overseas Chineseaffairs office of Sichuan provincial government, co-organized by foreignaffairs and overseas Chinese affairs office of Panzhihua municipal government,the training class of Nepalese health and medical personnel wassuccessfully  organized by Panzhihua University, and 35 Nepalese healthmanagement cadres attended the training class.

     At the opening ceremony on Dec.7,  Ma Xiaofeng, deputy mayor of Panzhihaucity,  and Wang  Shuguang, President of Panzhihua university,attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech. Ma Xiaofeng simplyintroduced Panzhihua city through Panzhihua's unique "city code" --"123456". She pointed out that it is the first time for Panzhihuacity to undertake such an international training seminar, which was a positiveresponse to the national  "One Belt And One Road" proposal. Shehoped that the teachers and experts participating in this training couldeffectively improve the trainees' health management theory level and medicalclinical practice ability, and the trainees could learn relevant knowledge andapply it to their future work. She wished  that each member could be envoy of friendship between the two peoples.

    President Wang Shuguang delivered a welcome speech. He first extended a warmwelcome on behalf of the school to the members of the training class who camefrom afar. He said that the school would organize the training class well withrelevant classroom teaching, convenient learning platform and good services forthe Nepalese training staff, and he wished them a happy life and study inPanzhihua.

    Totally,  the Nepalese training staff had eight courses such as Researchon Characteristic Biological Resources and Health in Panzhihua and XichangRegion, Infection Control and Prevention, The Current Situation and Practice ofChina's first Aid and  Medical Services System, etc. they were  alsoarranged to  visit our university's two affiliated hospitals, the Schoolof health and wellness, Panzhihua mental health center, etc.,  visit andparticipate in the  health exercise "muscle-bone strengtheningexercise", learn a Chinese way of keeping in good health--- tai chi,experience the cupping therapy, acupuncture, watch the cholecystectomy surgery.

    Through a week of learning, the Nepalese training staff gained not only thebusiness but also friendship, as SUVIT MASKET, the director of training staff,said he felt Panzhihua was their second hometown, Panzhihua people were modest,enthusiastic, and all the teachers and students in the university were veryfriendly, which made them feel well. And the Nepalese training staff said theexperience would benefit the Nepalese people by making full use of the latestmedical technology and improving the health system in Nepal.

    Although the study session was short, it fully witnessed thefriendship between China and Nepal. It is believed that under the guidance of“building a community of Shared future for mankind” proposed by the 19th CPC nationalcongress, the two countries will strengthen exchanges and cooperation in moreaspects and further deepen the friendly relations between China and Nepal.

   The training is the first time for our city to undertake international trainingproject, and a breakthrough for our school in international exchange.
