Instructions for Suspending Schooling but Maintaining Learning
during the Period of Prevention and Control of
NovelCoronavirus Pneumonia
各位指导老师和留学生同学：
为贯彻落实中国教育部关于新冠肺炎疫情防控期间学校“停课不停学的”的要求，也为了更好帮助留学生实现本学期末通过HSK4的学习目标，攀枝花学院国际教育学院根据学校安排和学生的实际情况，制定了2月24日（原定开学时间）至3月24日这一个月时间的汉语学习、辅导和督促计划安排，请各位老师和同学务必按要求执行。
All the instructors and international students,
For the implementation of the requirement “suspending schooling but maintaining learning” from Ministry of Education of China during the period of preventing and controlling of novel coronavirus pneumonia as well as in order to achieve the goal to pass the HSK 4 at the end of the next semester, we have formulated the plan for Chinese learning, coaching and supervision from February 24th (previous school opening time) to March 24th, for one month totally, on the basis of the school arrangement and students’ actual situation. All the instructors and international students are supposed to perform as being required.
一、为了辅导和监督同学们的学习情况，学院已将全部学生分为6个小组，每一小组分别指定了国际教育学院的老师和汉语课程任课老师为指导老师，负责课程辅导以及学生答疑，并检查学生在家中的学习完成情况。
I. For the guidance and supervision of students' learning situation, we have divided all the students into six groups. In each group there is one teacher from the School of International Education or Chinese course teacher as guiding teacher, who shall be responsible for training and answering the puzzling questions, and check the students learning list completion at home.
二、每一位同学必须尊重辅导老师并按老师的要求完成规定的学习任务。学生每周三和五必须通过微信向老师报告自己的汉语学习完成情况。请老师及时做好记录，不得有弄虚作假的现象。不按时报告的学生以及弄虚作假的，开学后给与警告处分，并纳入期末的退学处理考察内容。
II. Each student must respect the guiding teachers and fulfill the prescribed learning tasks as required by the teachers. On every Wednesday and Friday, the students must report to the teacher about own Chinese study completion through We Chat. Guiding teachers should keep a good memo of the students learning process without any cheating. Students who fail to report on time and those who resort to fraud shall be given disciplinary warning after the semester beginning, which will be included in the factors on students final drop-out.
三、开学后学院组织一次汉语考试，考试内容为寒假以及2月24日至3月24日的学习内容。考试不及格者将给与学业警告处分。
III. At the beginning of the new semester, we will hold a Chinese test, of which the content covers the Chinese study requirement from February 24th to March 24th. Those who fail in the exam will be given academic warning.
四、停课不停学期间的学习情况以及本次汉语测试成绩将在今年的奖学金评比中占10%的份额。
IV. During the period of suspending schooling but maintaining learning, the self-study performance and the Chinese test score will account for 10% in the proportion of yearly scholarship evaluation.
五、关于开学的时间，现还未确定，请同学们在得到学院的开学通知时再及时订票返校。
V. As for the school opening time, it has not been determined yet. Please book your tickets and return to school in time after you get the exact time of the new semester.
六、为确保每位同学知晓本次停课不停学的学习任务安排，并实行家校共同督促同学们按要求学习任务，请每位同学将我们的这个安排告知家长，并请家长与你都在本说明上签字表示知晓，并表示督促你在家的学习，也请每位同学在本说明上签字表示知晓并每天按要求认真完成指定的学习任务。
VI. To ensure that each student knows the study task during the period of suspending schooling but maintaining learning, we invite your parents to urge your daily study task according to the requirement. Please inform your parents about our arrangement, and sign on the instruction saying that you and your parents all are clear about the arrangement.

I. The study plan for grade 2017
The first week（2月24号—3月1日）: Please finish 《汉语教程》第一册（上）, write new words in part 2 at least five times, study grammar in part 4 and do grammar exercises in part 6 , listen to the recording of text in part 1 at least two times and write down what you hear.
The second week（3月2号—3月8日）: Please finish 《汉语教程》第一册（下）, write new words in part 2 at least five times, study grammar in part 4 and do grammar exercises in part 6 , listen to the recording of text in part 1 at least two times and write down what you hear.
The third week（3月9号—3月15日）: Please finish 《汉语教程》第二册（上）, write new words in part 2 at least five times, study grammar in part 4 and do grammar exercises in part 6 , listen to the recording of text in part 1 at least two times and write down what you hear.
The fourth week（3月16号—3月22日）: Please finish 《汉语教程》第二册（下）, write new words in part 2 at least five times, study grammar in part 4 and do grammar exercises in part 6 , listen to the recording of text in part 1 at least two times and write down what you hear. Write two articles in Chinese about 80-100 words: the first one is Self-introduction, the second one is A letter to Your Parents about your life at Panzhihua University.
II. The study plan for grade 2018
The first week（2月24号—3月1日）: Please finish reviewing lesson 1-10 of《汉语教程》第一册（上）,write new words in part 2 at least five times, study grammar in part 4, listen to the recording of text in part 1 at least two times and write down what you hear. Finish reviewing lesson 1-8 of 《汉语阅读教程》第一册, write Chinese characters in part 1 and words in part 2 at least three times.
The second week（3月2号—3月8日）: Please finish reviewing lesson 11--15 of《汉语教程》第一册（上） and lesson 16-20 of《汉语教程》第一册（下), write new words in part 2 at least five times, study grammar in part 4, listen to the recording of text in part 1 at least two times and write down what you hear. Finish reviewing lesson 9-16 of 《汉语阅读教程》第一册, write Chinese characters in part 1 and words in part 2 at least three times.
The third week（3月9号—3月15日）: Please finish reviewing lesson 21-25 of《汉语教程》第一册（下）and lesson 1-4 of 《汉语教程》第二册（上）,write new words in part 2 at least five times, study grammar in part 4, listen to the recording of text in part 1 at least two times and write down what you hear. Finish reviewing lesson 17-23 of 《汉语阅读教程》第一册, write Chinese characters in part 1 and words in part 2 at least three times.
The fourth week（3月16号—3月22日）: Please study lesson 24-30 of 《汉语阅读教程》第一册.write Chinese characters in part 1 and words in part 2 at least three times, read texts to finish the questions in part 3, finish all the exercises in part 4.
