Important Notice on

the Prevention and Control of New Coronavirus Pneumonia

International Students,

By 24:00 on January 26, there were 2,744 confirmed cases of new coronavirus pneumonia, including 461 severe cases, 80 deaths, 51 cured and discharged, and 5,794 suspected cases. The outbreak of new coronavirus pneumonia is in a period of rapid transmission. At present, the prevention and control of the epidemic across the country is proceeding in an orderly manner in accordance with the unified deployment of the Chinese government, but the situation is still serious. In order to ensure the health and safety of international students, we hereby inform you as follows:

1. No early return to school. The university is expected to postpone the start of new semester and the exact start time depends on the situation of the outbreak. Students returning to Pakistan are requested to arrange your return trip when you are informed of the exact time of return.

2. Temperature check. International students staying in the university, please turn to the dormitory keepers to check the temperature between 16:00 and 18:00 every day. If there are symptoms such as fever, headache, cough, runny nose, dyspnea and fatigue, you should immediately inform the teacher and go to the hospital.

3. Try not to go out. The university has closed its gates according to the requirements of the government. International students who need to go out should come and go through the east gate of the university (the opening time is 8:00am - 12:00am and 3:00pm - 6:00pm), and cooperate with the staff to do registration and temperature check. It is suggested that international students try to buy enough daily necessities to reduce the frequency of going out. Try to avoid crowded public places such as railway stations and shopping malls. International students must cancel all travel plans.

4. For students who are traveling in China, if you have a long-term residence, please do not recently arrange the trip back to the university and wait for the further notice; if you do not have a long-term residence, please arrange your trip back to university as soon as possible and inform the teacher in advance. For male students returning from the trip, please stay temporarily in room 506 for isolation observation; for female students returning from the trip, please stay temporarily in room 403 for isolation observation.

5. Wear a mask when going out, wash your hands frequently, eat a balanced diet and get some exercise.

6. Keep your room ventilated , clean and tidy.

7. Treat the epidemic accurately. We should pay full attention to the epidemic situation, but do not panic, do not believe rumors, do not spread rumors, and do not make rumors. Pay attention to the authoritative information released by the government, and make self-protection scientifically.
